 JENNIFER D BISHOP, L.AC., NREMT-B Jennifer
D Bishop is a graduate of New York College of Health Professions, where
she studied Acupuncture and earned a Master's Degree in Science.
Jennifer began her Acupuncture career in New York, but is now licensed in the State of South Carolina. In New York, Jennifer practiced for almost two years in the
Center for Natural Health with Dr. Fred Kiesecker. After moving to Greenwood, South Carolina, Jennifer found that her small town was uncharted territory for Acupuncture and she enjoys educating her community in the uses and benefits of Chinese Medicine. She enjoys public speaking and has given several talks to community and professional groups about the ancient art of Acupuncture. Prior to becoming an Acupuncturist, Jennifer volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician on Long Island and now works with a local county EMS system as an EMT here in the Upstate. She feels this gives her a special balance that many practitioners do not have - an appreciation for and an understanding of both Eastern healing philosophies and traditional, "Western" medicine - "the best of both hemispheres"! |
